About Us

Skilled Trades Society wasn't built in a boardroom. It was built on rooftops, job sites, and the back of 18 years of getting it done.

I started in roofing at the bottom — learning the hard way, working the long days, and figuring out that trades work isn't just a job. It's a lifestyle that most people will never understand. Over the years I built my own roofing and exterior siding business, and eventually moved into spray foam insulation. Still in the trades. Still on the tools.

Somewhere along the way I got tired of seeing workwear brands designed by people who've never set foot on a job site. Gear made for people who don't actually do the work. So I built something different.

Skilled Trades Society is for the people who show up before sunrise. Who work through the heat, the cold, and the chaos. Who run on coffee, spite, and a dark sense of humor about all of it. We make gear that gets it — because we live it.

This started as a side project. A way to build something of our own while still doing the work we know. But it's grown into something we're proud of — a community and a brand built by trades workers, for trades workers.
